City of Erie 2024 School Property Taxes

City Treasurer Casimir J. Kwitowski would like to notify City of Erie Taxpayers that the 2024 School property taxes face-amount due date was extended from November 30 to December 11 due to the recent snow emergency. If you have a question about the tax bill, please call 870-1210.

There are four convenient ways to pay School Property Taxes:

• City of Erie Taxpayers can pay their 2024 School Property Taxes at the Treasurer’s Office, 626 State St, Room 105, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

• Residents can deposit the 2024 School Property Tax bills with a check or money order in the outside drop box located in front of City Hall’s 626 State Street entrance.

• Residents can pay online at the City of Erie’s website Cityof.erie.pa.us with Visa, MasterCard & Discover. Please note, online payments include a 3% convenience fee to cover the City’s costs due to fees levied by the credit card companies.

• Taxpayers can mail in their full payments with bills to:

PLEASE NOTE DUE DATES FOR THE 2024 SCHOOL DISTRICT CITY OF ERIE TAX BILL

• TAX AT 2% DISCOUNT if paid on or before 09/30/2024

• TAX AT FACE AMOUNT if paid by 12/11/2024 (extended snow date)

• TAX AT (10%) PENALTY if paid on or after 12/12/2024

“Failure to receive notice shall not relieve any taxpayer from the payment of any taxes imposed by any taxing district, and such taxpayer shall be charged with his taxes as though he had received notice.”
