Annual Tire and Electronics Recycling Event – Saturday, May 3, 2025

The City of Erie is holding its annual Tire and Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City of Erie Municipal Garage Complex, 1926 Holland St. The drive-through, drop-off event is limited to City of Erie residents only; proof of residency is required upon drop-off. A new addition to this year’s event is the acceptance of smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

Event Details:
• Must be a City of Erie resident. A photo ID is required.
• Up to six tires per resident. Only passenger vehicle and light truck tires accepted. No rims.

Accepted electronics include:
• TVs
• Desktop, laptop, and tablet computers
• Computer monitors
• Printers
• Computer accessories, including keyboards, mice, and speakers

Please note: Construction debris and hazardous materials will not be accepted.
