The new 814 Concert Series begins this Sunday, July 10 at Bayview Park, located at W. 2nd and Cherry Streets.
The evening starts with an instructional drum circle by One World Tribe – Rhythms of the World at 4 p.m. A limited number of drums are available to use. Drumming is free and open to the public and no experience is required.
Local band “The Islers” will kick off the six-week concert series with a performance starting at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the show.
The Big Cheese food truck will be vending during the event.
The 814 Concert Series is presented by UPMC Health Plan and features one local band each Sunday evening, culminating on 814 Day, Aug. 14.
