Compostable (pale green) plastic bags that meet ASTM D6400 standards for compostability may be used.

Open hard containers may also be used for leaves.

DO NOT use cardboard boxes or any other during leaf season. collection.

DO NOT rake leaves into city streets. This creates a hazardous situation for cars, motorcycles, cyclists, walkers,and runners. Wet leaves can cause slippery conditions.

DO NOT park over leaves in the street. Cars parked over dry leaves can catch fire quickly.

DO NOT put pet waste or cat litter in with leaves.

DO NOT put grass and leaves in refuse.
