City of Erie 2023 Property Taxes
City Treasurer Casimir J. Kwitowski, would like to notify City of Erie taxpayers, that the 2023 CITY AND COUNTY property taxes are in the mail. If anyone does not receive their tax bills by the end of February, please call our office at 870-1210. The school bill was mailed out last July 2022.
You can pay your Property Taxes in office at 626 State St Room 105, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays or online at the City of Erie’s website www.erie.pa.us where VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER are accepted and a convenience fee is added to your bill.

LOCAL TAX COLLECTION LAW
“Failure to receive notice shall not relieve any taxpayer from the payment of any taxes imposed by any taxing district, and such taxpayer shall be charged with his taxes as though he had received notice.”
