Neighborhood group to hold meeting on Buffalo Road Neighborhood Plan

The Eastside Grassroots Coalition will hold a neighborhood meeting on Thursday to discuss plans for the Buffalo Road neighborhood. View a draft of the plan here.

The group has worked closely with staff in the City’s Department of Planning and Neighborhood Resources to draft a Neighborhood Plan for the area between East 12th Street and the Bayfront Connector, and the Bayfront Connector to Bird Drive.

  • Place: Quality of Life Learning Center, 2046 E. 19th St.

Topics for the meeting will include property improvement strategies, economic development opportunities, and public infrastructure improvements with comments from Gary Horton, Executive Director of the Urban Erie Community Development Center, Erie Mayor Joe Schember, and Erin Carey, Neighborhood Planner for the City of Erie.

This will be an in-person event with a video conference link at cityof.erie.pa.us/egcmeeting.
