CelebrateErie 2023 headliners announced

Mayor Joe Schember and City Events Manager Adrienne Nannen, on June 1, 2023, announced the mainstage music headliners for CelebrateErie 2023, which runs from Aug. 18 – Aug. 20, 2023. CelebrateErie is the region’s largest annual festival, showcasing our local musicians, artists, performers, businesses, food vendors, and rich cultural diversity.

The mainstage will be located at Fourth and State streets. Mainstage performances begin at 5:30 p.m. Headliners go on at 8 p.m.

  • Friday, Aug. 18: Erie All Stars present a tribute to Fleetwood Mac
    • The Erie All Stars is comprised of a five-member core band and several featured performers including Doug Philips, Ron Sutton Jr., Craig Stevens, Eric Brewer and Rich Griser. Featured performers will include some familiar faces from past Erie All-Stars performances such as Roy Hollis, Brittany Morton, and Elly Vahey.
    • Kicking off the mainstage on Friday will be local favorites Mambo, and Stephen Trohoske’s Dance JoneZz.
    • Friday’s show is sponsored by Cumulus Media and Classy 100 FM.
  • Saturday, Aug. 19: Flo Rida
    • Flo Rida was raised in Carol City, Florida. When he was a teenager, he found success rapping in local groups, including 2 Live Crew. His debut album in 2008, “Mail on Sunday,” featured “Low,” with T-Pain. It reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. From his fourth album, “Wild Ones, the single “Good Feeling” reached #3 on the Hot 100.
    • Local bands Life Thru Music and then The LEC will open for Flo Rida.
    • Saturday’s show is sponsored by Lilly Broadcasting and Happi 92.7 FM.
  • Sunday, Aug. 20: Parmalee
    • The Academy of Country Music’s “New Vocal Group of the Year” nominee is one of Country music’s most successful acts. The platinum-selling band of brothers is one of only four groups since 2001 to earn three consecutive Top 10 singles from a debut country album.
    • Comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, cousin Barry Knox, and life-long friend Josh McSwain, the North Carolina natives had their first #1 country hit with “Carolina.” The band recently returned to the top of the charts with their platinum-certified #1 single “Just the Way,” featuring Blanco Brown, and then with their follow-up single, “Take My Name” from their new album “For You,” which became a multi-week #1 country radio hit. Their latest single, “Girl In Mine,” is out now.
    • Opening the show Sunday night will be Blue Sky, and Refuge.
    • Sunday’s show is sponsored by iHeart Radio and 93.9 FM The Wolf
