Final Draft: Review Erie’s Citywide Historic Preservation Plan

The City of Erie is pleased to announce that the final draft plan is complete and available at The plan was funded by a Keystone Historic Preservation Planning Grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.

The Citywide Historic Preservation Plan will provide a roadmap for Erie’s newly-created Historic Preservation Program. This Plan will help the City of Erie identify and preserve significant historic buildings and places as they play a critical part in enhancing Erie’s visual character, economic development, and quality of life for Erie’s residents and visitors, and for Erie’s future generations.

We hope to present it to City Council in March for approval and full adoption.
