City of Erie Announces 814 and Sounds of Summer Concert Series

On Thursday, June 6, Erie Mayor Joe Schember and City Events Manager Adrienne Nannen announced the lineups for the City’s Sounds of Summer concerts and the 814 Concert Series. Each summer, the City of Erie is proud to bring residents live music at several City parks and senior living communities. Both concert series are presented by UPMC Health Plan. The Music Performance Trust Fund and the American Federation of Musicians Local 17 Music Fund provided additional grant funding for the Sounds of Summer.

Several of this summer’s 814 Concerts will be held in select neighborhoods just after Love Your Block improvement projects which are also taking place in those neighborhoods. Find more information about the City’s Love Your Block initiative by visiting cityof.erie.pa.us/loveyourblock.

The 814 Concert Series features one local band each Sunday at 5 p.m. starting July 7 and ending on Aug. 11. All concerts are free and open to the public. Each location will have a food truck and community resource tables. Bring a chair to enjoy the show!

Sound of Summer Concerts 2024

Sounds of Summer features one local band each Monday night at 7 p.m. starting July 8 and ending Aug. 12. Concerts take place at senior living communities throughout the City of Erie. All shows are free and open to the public.
