The ADA Coordinator’s Office is located in Room 507, 626 State Street, Erie, PA 16501. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the ADA Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all programs, services, and activities provided by the City of Erie are accessible to people with disabilities. The ADA Coordinator also assists architects, developers, business owners, landlords and others in finding the appropriate information and resources for designing or redesigning their facilities so that they are usable by all persons, including those with disabilities.

To be included in all meeting and event notices (postings, mailings, etc.)
It is the policy of the City of Erie that all City-sponsored public meetings and
events are accessible to people with disabilities. If you need assistance in participating in
this meeting or event due to a disability as defined under the ADA, please call the City’s
ADA Coordinator, Mas Sala at (814) 870-1111 at least five (5) business days prior to the scheduled meeting or event to request an accommodation.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the City of Erie has adopted the following policy for addressing requests for reasonable accommodations made by people with disabilities in its services, activities, programs, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Citizens seeking reasonable accommodations through the ADA should submit their request in writing* to:

The ADA Coordinator will consider the accommodation and the petitioner will be
notified within one week of receipt of the request.
* Alternative means of filing a request, such as personal interviews, phone calls, or taped requests, will be made available for persons with disabilities if unable to communicate their request in writing.
